Thalgor looked down at Catrina, and smiled warmly. "I think I will do that. There are many wrongs, each one important to the people involved. If I want my wrong to be righted, then every-ones wrongs should be righted, or at least as many as is possible!"
He tugs her hand, pulling her to her feet. "So, where do I sign up?" Then he grins. "And where do I get equipment like yours?"
OOC: Heh. Why not? Thalgor [TEMPLAR]: Hi everybody! I'm new to the guild.
*headsmack* How did I manage that trick? Duh moment.
Thalgor *{Sentinel}* Hi everybody! I'm new to the guild.

Catrina grinned and took Thalgor's hand. 'Come with me! Gilgal will swear you in!' Even if his office door was closed, Gilgal never got grumpy about being interrupted to swear a new officer in. Actually, it was the only thing that got him close to smiling!
Catrina lead Thalgor through the madness that was the main Guildhall. On the way to Gildal's office, she pounced on several of her fellow officers, dragging them over to meet the 'new recruit.' On the way she told Thalgor 'My equipment was bought in Avarice's shop and the luxury shops in Aberack. Although my belt was a gift from Arkone, the leader of the Order I belong to. '
With that the arrived at Gilgal's office. The door was closed, but Catrina swept on in, her prize in tow. She cut of Gilgal's building bluster by explaining that she brought someone who wished to join the Guild. Sure enough, Gilgal perked up, and shook Thalgor's hand. He then gave his usual, long-winded speech swearing Thalgor into the ranks. Catrina couldn't help but remember back when she had stood in that space, hearing those same words from that same ageless face. Thing was, it had felt so much more impressive back then....
Gilgal finally finished swearing Thalgor in, shaking his hand again and pinning a badge on him. Catrina then stepped up to Thalgor, congratulated him, hugged him and (in a move that surprised even Catrina) kissed him deeply. Gilgal harrumphed about 'improper sexual advances toward the ranks' but otherwise let things go.

Thalgor whirled his way through his initation, lost in the rapid introduction of so many people, bewildered through Gilgal's speech, then drowned in Catrina's kiss. Eventually his head cleared, and he came to the shocking conclusion that he had, in fact, joined the Sentinel Guild. This was certainly not something he'd expected himself to do!
Now did he have any idea what he was supposed to do. It had somehow made sense that in order to continue his own search for the murderer of his family, he should take on the job of finding other wrong doers, but now that the time was apparently here, he didn't know where to begin! He'd been given some basic equipment, but certainly nothing as effective (either visually or functionally) as Catrina's.
As for this Catrina female... well, he'd never actually gotten to know a catfolk before, but this one certainly seemed more then interesting, and more then interested. He wondered just how different their anatomy was... and how soft her fur would be.
I think this might be a good place to call this story arc done. It certainly didn't go the way I expected, but it did go in a way that was very satisfying and probably more interesting the plotline I had loosely outlined in my head.
Thank you for playing along Catrina. I hope for many more threads in the future about the further adventures of "Thalgor the Human is Catrina's pet Human."
